The highly anticipated third season of The Real Housewives of Lagos will premiere on January 12, 2025, MultiChoice announced on Monday.
Dr. Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content and Channels for West Africa, confirmed that the new season will air on Africa Magic Showcase, DStv Channel 151, and GOtv Channel 8, with new episodes available every Sunday at 8:00 p.m.
Viewers will also have access to the previous two seasons on Showmax, with a fast-follow release starting on January 13, 2025. Tejumola revealed that the upcoming season will be even grander, offering an unmatched portrayal of the luxury, lifestyle, and culture of Lagos.
“For the past two seasons, The Real Housewives of Lagos has offered viewers an exclusive glimpse into the glamorous world of Lagos, cementing its place as a premium entertainment experience,” Tejumola said. “This season promises to take things to the next level with exciting surprises that fans will surely love.”
Returning to the screen are fan favorites: Laura Ikeji Kanu, a prominent entrepreneur and social media personality; Mariam Timmer, a bold and charismatic PR expert; and Carolyna Hutchings, an entertainment icon and savvy businesswoman. The trio will continue to share their dynamic lives, relationships, and high-profile events.
The new season will also introduce three fresh faces to the cast: Dabota Lawson, Adeola Adeyemi, and Sophia Momodu. The show will delve deeper into the lives of these six women, exploring the delicate balance of family, friendship, and business in one of Africa’s most vibrant cities. The season promises a mix of lavish parties, emotional moments, and inevitable conflicts.
Tejumola emphasized that the Real Housewives franchise, distributed internationally by NBCUniversal Formats, continues to set the standard for reality television.
