President Tinubu expressed his deep sorrow over the recent tragedies in Ibadan, Okija, and Abuja and extended his condolences to the families affected by this year’s floods, fires, and accidents. He prayed for comfort for those grieving and pledged the government’s commitment to preventing future incidents.
The President also urged Nigerians to honor the nation’s troops who risk their lives to protect the country, emphasizing that they deserve unwavering support and prayers. He called on citizens to extend similar encouragement to national leaders, enabling them to govern diligently and work towards a prosperous Nigeria.

The President assured Nigerians traveling during the festive season that the government is committed to their safety, with measures in place to secure transportation routes. He highlighted the provision of free train services and subsidized transport on 144 routes nationwide to ease travel burdens.
