West Ham forward Michail Antonio is back running, nearly three months after surviving a severe car accident in Epping, Essex.
Antonio’s Ferrari crashed into a tree after veering off the road, leaving the vehicle badly damaged.
Essex Fire Service confirmed that firefighters rescued the footballer from the wreckage before he underwent surgery for a lower limb fracture.
Following weeks of rehabilitation, Antonio has resumed jogging and gym work.
Reports indicate that the 37-year-old will soon progress to sprinting, jumping, and ball drills as he continues his recovery.
