
Ondo State, newly sworn-in Governor Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has hit the ground running, making strategic appointments just moments after taking the oath of office.
In a swift decision, he approved the appointment of Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti as the new Secretary to the State Government. Dr. Fasoranti, an indigene of Akure South Local Government Area, previously served as Chairman of the Ondo State Hospitals Management Board.
The governor also reappointed Dr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN, as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, while Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac retains her role as Commissioner for Finance.
Other key appointments include:Mr. Johnson Alabi as Special Adviser on Power, Dr. Seun Osamaye as Special Adviser on Women Affairs, comrade Taiwo Bola as Special Adviser on Union Matters and Special Duties., Professor Simidele Odimayo as Special Adviser on Health.
In another significant move, Mr. Abiola Olawoye, previously the Senior Special Assistant on Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing, has been elevated to Special Adviser in the same portfolio.
According to a statement from the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, all appointments take immediate effect as Governor Aiyedatiwa begins his administration with a focus on governance and continuity.
