At least 51 people have lost their lives, and more than 100 others sustained injuries in a devastating nightclub fire in Kocani, North Macedonia, early Sunday.
According to the interior ministry, the fire erupted around 3:00 AM during a performance by ADN, a popular local hip-hop duo, at the Pulse Club.
The venue, which was packed with an estimated 1,500 attendees, was quickly engulfed in flames.
Footage circulating on social media shows the nightclub consumed by fire, with thick smoke billowing into the night sky.
Local reports suggest the blaze may have been triggered by pyrotechnic effects used during the performance, with video evidence showing sparks from the stage igniting the ceiling.
Authorities have launched a full investigation to determine the cause of the tragedy as rescue efforts continue.
