The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has rescheduled the 2025 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) from April 5 to April 10.
The agency in a statement cited the need for enhanced preparations and the incorporation of new innovations to improve the examination process.
In its weekly bulletin, JAMB also explains that the adjustment would also accommodate the increased number of examination centres, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates.
“Originally set for Saturday, April 5, 2025, the Mock UTME will now take place on Thursday, April 10, 2025, while the main UTME will commence on April 25, 2025,” the board stated.
Highlighting its commitment to global best practices, JAMB emphasised that the changes align with recent research on examination methodologies and are aimed at optimizing the mock exam’s effectiveness.
The board also assured candidates that information regarding the printing of the Mock Notification Slip, which will contain details of examination centres, will be announced soon.
