Premier League side Chelsea is eyeing Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy as a possible alternative to Napoli’s Victor Osimhen.
The Blues have long been linked with Osimhen, but his hefty release clause has made a deal difficult.
As the summer transfer window approaches, Chelsea are now considering a 75 million dollar offer for Guirassy, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes.
Guirassy has been in fine form this season, scoring 28 goals and providing five assists in 41 matches for Dortmund across all competitions. He also leads the goal chart in the UEFA Champions League.
Meanwhile, Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray, has netted 29 goals and six assists in 34 games, helping the Turkish giants close in on their 25th league title.
Despite his success, talks are ongoing between his parent club Napoli and interested buyers, with the latest reports suggesting he may be heading to Manchester United in the summer.
