President Tinubu welcomed by Governor Uba Sani and dignitaries during his arrival in Kaduna, June 20, 2025
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday arrived in Kaduna State on a one-day working visit to inaugurate a series of key developmental projects aimed at improving infrastructure and service delivery across the state.
The President was received at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna by Governor Uba Sani, alongside senior government officials, traditional rulers, and other dignitaries.
Upon arrival, President Tinubu proceeded to Rigachikun in Igabi Local Government Area, where he was scheduled to commission a range of completed projects. These include road networks, healthcare centres, and educational facilities, all designed to boost access to essential services and stimulate rural development.
The projects form part of the Kaduna State Government’s broader strategy to enhance social infrastructure and promote inclusive growth in underserved communities.
Meanwhile, security across the state capital was visibly heightened. A combined presence of the Nigerian Police, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), and the military ensured a smooth and secure presidential visit.
