Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko has fired back at fellow actress Queeneth Hilbert, taking legal action over allegations of boyfriend snatching and financial manipulation.
In a strongly worded legal notice shared on her social media, Destiny, through her lawyers, has demanded a public retraction, an apology, and N100 million in damages for what she describes as false and damaging accusations against her.
The controversy began on March 6, when Queeneth took to Instagram, accusing Destiny of having a romantic affair with a man named Tony from Benin and allegedly taking over her colleagues’ benefactors. She went even further, threatening to attack Destiny if she stepped foot in Asaba, Delta State.
Destiny is now taking a firm stand, calling the claims a deliberate attempt to ruin her reputation. In the legal notice, her lawyers demand that Queeneth immediately stop making defamatory statements, delete the accusations from all platforms within 48 hours, and issue a public apology. Failure to do so, they say, will result in legal consequences.
This isn’t the first time Destiny has faced public scrutiny over alleged relationships. Last year, she was forced to deny rumors that Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde’s husband bought her a car. And in an earlier scandal, she was linked to billionaire Tein Jack-Rich, a claim both parties strongly refuted.
For now, all eyes are on Queeneth Hilbert, will she comply with the legal demands, or is Nollywood gearing up for another high-profile courtroom drama?
