
Action-packed fixtures await in Nnewi as eight NBSL teams battle for points in the 2025 Round Two season.
The Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) has unveiled fixtures for Round Two of the 2025 season, set to take place in Nnewi, Anambra State, from Thursday, August 21, to Saturday, August 23.
According to the Competition Department of the league, the opening game will see Kebbi United BSC face Jigawa Golden Stars BSC early on Thursday morning, followed by Ibom BSC taking on Nmanko Patigi BSC at 9:00 a.m. Later in the day, Kada BSC will clash with Niger BSC at 4:00 p.m., before hosts Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors meet reigning champions Kebbi Fishers BSC in what is expected to be a thrilling encounter.
A league spokesperson told reporters, “The Nnewi round promises to be highly competitive, with every match crucial for teams aiming to secure a spot in the Super Six Playoffs.”
The round will span three matchdays, featuring all eight teams in a battle for points that could determine their qualification for the highly anticipated Super Six Playoffs in Akwa Ibom State. Currently, Kebbi Fishers BSC top

Speaking on the competition, a team coach said, “Every match is critical at this stage; the Nnewi phase could make or break our chances for the Super Six Playoffs. Teams must stay focused and play strategically.”
