Hollywood stars Jennifer Lopez, 55, and Ben Affleck, 52, are set to officially divorce by February 20, 2025, marking the end of their nearly two-year marriage.
According to reports from TMZ, the couple has agreed to maintain their individual assets and earnings, with neither party required to pay spousal support.
Under the settlement, Affleck will retain his stake in Artists Equity, the production company he co-founded with Matt Damon in 2022, just months before his marriage to Lopez. The company has been behind several acclaimed films, including Air, Unstoppable, The Instigators, Small Things Like These, and The Accountant 2.
Meanwhile, Lopez will keep earnings from her projects, including Atlas, This Is Me… Now, The Mother, Shotgun Wedding, and Marry Me.
As part of the agreement, Lopez will drop “Affleck” as her last name and return to using Jennifer Lynn Lopez. The couple also agreed to sell their $61 million home, but the terms of the sale remain private.
In an interview last October, Lopez admitted the split had been emotionally challenging, saying it “almost took me out for good,” though she maintained she had no regrets about the decision.
The pair, who tied the knot in July 2022, have remained professional in resolving their differences and finalizing the divorce terms.
